What the ratings mean
- R11
- The shod ramp test (DIN EN 16165) measures the angle at which a person in standard work footwear starts to slip on an oiled surface. R11 covers 19–27°, the class normally specified for outdoor walkways, pool surrounds and commercial kitchens.
- DCOF 0.65
- The dynamic coefficient of friction under ANSI A326.3 is the standard North American measure. The threshold for level interior spaces expected to be walked on wet is 0.42; Everblue measures 0.65 and is rated for exterior wet use.
Everblue is rated for exterior wet use, which is the rating that matters around pools, on steps and on any surface that sees rain or irrigation.
