A mountain-view home in Utah.
Large-format Everblue laid in a running bond, carried straight through from the terrace to the pool surround.
Built for real winters.
Utah runs through freeze and thaw dozens of times a season, and does it at altitude under strong sun. That is the combination that shales natural bluestone and fades it.
Everblue is ¾″ porcelain with water absorption at or below 0.5%, tested frost resistant to ASTM C1026, and rated for no color change under sunlight and UV. The same pavers run from the terrace to the pool surround, where a dynamic coefficient of friction above 0.60 wet matters more than anywhere else on a property.
Because porcelain is manufactured rather than quarried, thickness and dimensions are consistent piece to piece. On a run this size that is the difference between a crew shimming slabs and a crew laying them.
